1. What services does Indlaw Articles
offer ?
Indlaw Articles, in association with Mondaq Ltd offers one
of the largest and most comprehensive electronic resources
of professionals' knowledge and expertise. Mondaq publishes
legal, regulatory and financial commentary and information
to the business community at large.
Articles appear here at Indlaw
Articles , and all these articles are distributed by Mondaq
to the major online databases such as Lexis-Nexis, Reuters,
FT Profile, EIU, DowJones, Bloomberg, Dialog, RDS, Butterworths
and WestLaw as well as through sector-specific websites. Click

2. How can I search the articles on the website
?
To search the website choose search from the left hand side
menu. You will then be presented a list of options to filter
what information you need.
3. Do you publish in languages other than
English?
Indlaw in association with Mondaq receive material
in any language, as long as a brief summary of its subject
matter is provided in English.
4. How do I unregister/unsubscribe with Mondaq
services?
To stop receiving the Mondaq News Alert:
- Follow the Newalert link at Mondaq
- Click on unsubscribe
- You will no longer receive Mondaq News Alerts
To stop receiving other emails from Mondaq:
- Click on the "Your Profile" option on Mondaq.
- Tick the box labelled "Click here to not receive any future
announcements of products and services offered by Mondaq"
- Click on "Update"
5. I have forgotten my login and password details,
how can I find them out?
From the Mondaq login page, click on the link at the bottom
of the page entitled Forgotten your password? You will be
asked to type in your e-mail address. As long as your e-mail
address matches the one you registered under, your user name
and password details will be e-mailed to you.

1. What benefit is it to me to publish with
Indlaw Article s?
Indlaw Articles will market you and your firm to the business
community by displaying your knowledge and expertise in electronic
form. Indlaw strategic alliance with Mondaq Ltd, ensures that
major proprietary online database owners and other distributed
websites publish your articles. This enables you to maximise
the reach of your practice and that of your firm to your target
market of business users. You supply us with articles, and
we publish them online - putting you in front of your potential
clients when they need you.
2. I would like to publish my articles with you. How can I becom
e a Indlaw Articles Editorial Contributor?
Simply click
here to go to our Editorial Confirmation form. Registration
as an Editorial Contributor should take no longer than five
minutes. You can then start submitting articles immediately.
3. How do you distribute my articles to your Distribution partners'
services and websites?
In addition to Indlaw, all articles are released onto the
major online business databases such as Lexis-Nexis, Reuters,
FT Profile, EIU, DowJones, Bloomberg, Dialog, Butterworths
and WestLaw. Other websites either take all of content, or
take articles covering specific topic areas. Indlaw articles
- Mondaq will index your article on receipt to ensure that
it appears on all the relevant sector-specific websites.
4. Is there anyway you can feed my articles back to my firm's own website?
Yes: Mondaq can simplify your administration by republishing
your articles on your firm's own website, using the same technology
used to publish on our Distribution partners' sites. We call
this "Client Site Publishing" and you can find more information
about this by clicking
here.
5. Can I find out who has been viewing
our articles?
Mondaq offers Contributors the ability to monitor the effectiveness
of their publishing activity. Management Reports allow you
to see full details of who has been reading your articles
and when, who has e-mailed you, and who has used click-throughs
to your website as a result of reading their articles (subject
to the UK Data Protection Act 1998).
If you are already an Editorial Contributor and would like
to purchase access to Management Reports, simply click

6. How much will it cost to become an Editorial
Contributor?
There is no set-up charge to publish your articles with Indlaw
Articles - Mondaq. Every Editorial Contributor is entitled
to publish up to three articles per year, every year, for
no charge.
You can enhance your presence online by purchasing, if you
wish, options such as an email link, firm logo, website link,
photograph or personal phone and fax details. In addition,
you can monitor user interest in your articles through our
Management Reports.
7. Do I have to write the articles myself or can they be written by other
members of my firm?
Every person who would like to publish articles is entitled
to publish up to three articles per year, every year. We simply
require that each author register with us as an Editorial
Contributor by filling in the form here,
which should take no longer than 5 minutes.
If you would like to sign up more than five Editorial Contributors
from one firm, please contact us at articles@indlaw.com
and we would be pleased to help you with the administration.
8. Can we publish articles with you that have
previously been published?
If you own the copyright to the article, we can publish it
for you. Unfortunately, Mondaq cannot accept responsibility
for ensuring the correct copyright, so we ask that Editorial
Contributors are certain of their right to publish.
9. Do you have any editorial guidelin es?
Yes, we do have editorial guidelines to assist our contributors.
These are sent out automatically when you sign-up to be a
contributor.
10. Which subjects should my article s cover?
Publishing with Indlaw Articles is an opportunity to demonstrate
your specific areas of expertise, and as such it is your choice
as to the topics you cover. If it is your aim to attract and
recruit clients from your activity with Indlaw Articles, we
recommend that you publish topical commentary, analysis or
information which you know is affecting, or likely to affect,
your target market.
11. Do the articles have to comply with a certain style or length?
There is no editorial style that contributors need to adhere
to although we recommend that the article be no more than
5000 words. However, if you wish to make your article longer
you will incur processing charges: £50 for an article which
is between 5001 and 7500 words long; £100 for an article which
is between 7501 and 15000 words long; and £150 for an article
which is between 15001 and 30000 words long.
12. Where do I send my articles to?
All articles should be sent via e-mail to; articles@indlaw.com
13. What can I not publish?
We will publish anything that we deem appropriate to our website
and our distribution partners. We will not publish anything
that is not linked to legal, financial, regulatory, commercial
or professional matter. We will not be responsible for the
facts and matters that are published on our site, as outlined
in the disclaimer below.
"Contributors to Indlaw Articles and/or of Mondaq Ltd are
solely responsible for the facts and accuracy of all information
submitted by them for transmission by Mondaq Ltd. The only
responsibility of Mondaq Ltd shall be to use its reasonable
efforts to correct any error of fact, timing or omission brought
to its attention. Mondaq Ltd reserves the right to reject
copy when necessary in its judgement."
14. What format should I send my article in?
All articles should be in electronic format and formatted
in MS Word, unformatted text, HTML, ASCII or PDF. If you use
another format you will incur a processing charge of £50.
15. Can I include graphs, tables, and footnotes in my articles?
Yes you can include graphs, tables and footnotes in your article,
but you may incur the following processing charges: there
is a charge of £50 for each table where your article contains
4 or more tables; there is a charge of £50 for each graphic
where your article contains 4 or more graphics; and there
is a charge of £50 for publishing articles with over 30 footnotes
or endnotes.
16. How long will it take for my article to be pu blished online?
We endeavour to publish your article online within 3 days
after our receipt of your contribution.
17. How will I know my article has gone online?
As soon as your article is ready for release on the system,
you will be sent an email and a link to follow to preview
the article, whereupon you will be able to make the article
live yourself. It will be searchable on the search engine
the next day.
18. What shall I do if I wish to make amendments to the article?
Should you wish to make any last minute amendments to your
article, please resubmit it by sending it to mailto: articles@indlaw.com
