This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personally identifiable information collected by Action Aid India when you view the Action Aid Rights Focus newsletter. This policy also covers Action Aid's treatment of any personally identifiable information that Action Aid India's business partners including Indlaw Communications Pvt Ltd (Indlaw), shares with Action Aid India. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Action Aid does not own or control, or to people that Action Aid does not employ or manage.
1 Collection and Use of Personal Information
1.1 Action Aid collects personally identifiable information when you register for a subscription account with the Action Aid Rights Focus newsletter, or Action Aid may also receive personally identifiable information from its business partners.

1.2 When you register with the Action Aid Rights Focus newsletter, we ask for your name and email address. Action Aid also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, Indlaw cookie information and the page you requested.
1.3 Action Aid uses the information collected for two general purposes:
